Schenker
Martial Arts is a comprehensive system of
martial as well as healing arts. Scott
Schenker combines seven powerful systems
which are: Emei Linji Qigong, Chen Style Taiji, Traditional
Wing Chun Kung Fu
(the style that made Bruce Lee famous),
Traditional Liu He Men/Ziranmen (Six Harmony
Natural Style School), Karate, Jeet
Kune Do (the style Bruce Lee developed) and
Boxing.
This internal/external art is traditional
with contemporary characteristics.
These systems are kept pure the way they
were intended to stay as they were passed
down generation to generation. There reason
I believe this to be a superior system is
for the systems contained within as well as
my teachers who I have a heart felt respect
for. Schenker Martial Arts comes from
the direct teachings of Fu Wei Zhong, Chen Xiao Wang, Chen Xiao Xin,
Chen Bing, Chen Guizhen, Ren Guang Yi, Ron Austin, Aaron Banks, Wan
Laisheng, Chen Ying and William Cheung.
Philosophically it encompasses, Chan(Zen),
Buddhism, Taoism (Lao-Tzu), Confucianism and
the teachings of Mother Theresa, Gandhi,
Krishnamurti, Sai Baba, Samurai(Musashi) and
Zhuangzi
In my life long pursuit of the best, most
powerful, most practical, most reality based
systems, I have come up with Schenker Martial
Arts. Which by no means is the best
for there is always a higher
mountain but this system is created from the best
teachers that I have
found across the globe. It works for
me as well as my students/clients. I
by no means will put down another system of
martial or healing arts unless it is
counter productive and hurts life for no
reason, be it martial or healing. My feeling
is if it can help you and help you to help
others then I am a strong advocate.
My goal
is to get as many people as possible to do
something. Just look at the condition of our
nation - obesity, divorce, emotional,
spiritual and physical pain as well as sleep and
time deprivation. Something has got to be
done. No matter how minuet. As an old
adage states "to rest is to rust". You who is reading this,
yes you, do you know
someone, if not everyone, who has
suffered from any of the afore mentioned
problems?
If so get up off your chair, shut off this
computer and do something. You don't
necessarily have to contact me, although it
would be nice, but contact someone
who can make a difference and help you
cultivate your own life. And who knows
you might just be the next one writing this
text!
Look for what works for you, what you
enjoy, for you alone will walk this path. You
can bring a friend, family member, etc., but
this has to be a personal endeavor. Start
off with just a few minutes a day.
Don't say you don't have the time because if
you get sick you will make time to heal,
missing work and appointments, etc.
I wish
you all good luck in your mission.
